The story_

Peace Piece began with a belief: that a piece of jewellery should carry a story.

The world does not lack for jewellery. The shelves are full of it. What it lacks is a piece that belongs to one specific person — not because it is expensive, but because it is theirs.

We make pieces for that.

The stone has its own story. Pulled from the earth with its own shape, its own colour — we shape it to reveal what it already was, not to round it into something easier to sell.

The artist has their own story. Many firings in a kiln at eight hundred degrees. A brushstroke that cannot be undone. A small mistake that means starting over.

And the person who wears it has the longest story of all. The life they carry into the piece on the first day, and every day after.

We hope the piece that finds you feels the way family feels — safe at your side, full of things to say. When a friend asks about it, you will not say it is pretty. You will tell them the story.

We do not make pieces for everyone. We make them for someone. For the story only one person can tell.

The inward and the outward_

We make two kinds of pieces, and they do different kinds of telling.

Seren is worn on the wrist. You see it when you pour coffee, type an email, lift a glass. It is an inward piece — the story you tell yourself when no one is asking.

Elysian is worn at the chest, on a chain. It catches light from across a room. It is an outward piece — a symbol you chose to carry, a short line of self-introduction to the world.

On honesty_

Jewellery is a category full of inflation.

"Real gold" that is 0.05 microns thick. "Natural" stones that were grown in a lab. "Handmade" that means a person pressed a button.

We have chosen to describe what we make precisely.

The gold on a Seren bracelet is 18K, at 0.18 microns, as one layer in an engineered six-layer stack about 10 microns thick. The base is brass.

Elysian is different. The pendant body is 950 Britannia silver — the same silver purity used in Fabergé's most celebrated enamelled pieces, at 95% pure. The chain is 925 sterling silver, the standard for fine jewellery chains. Both are finished in 3.0 microns of 18K gold vermeil, which is twenty percent thicker than the US FTC minimum for vermeil.

These are the numbers. We put them on our site because you deserve to know what you are buying.

The same honesty extends to the limits of what we make. High-fire painted enamel, under normal wear, is a permanent surface — it does not fade or peel on its own. But dropped, struck, or exposed to real heat, it cracks in ways that cannot be reversed. Our Promise is clear about this, and so are we: the beauty of these pieces requires care, and we would rather tell you up front than argue about it later.

This is also why our policies are precise. What we cover, and what we do not. What we restore, and what we leave alone. Clarity is how we show respect.

Worn to be told_

A Peace Piece is not an ornament. It is a sign — something you carry because it stands for something.

Every piece holds at least four stories inside it.

The story of the stone or the symbol — where it came from, what it has meant across the centuries, what its shape or image carries.

The story of the maker — the hand that polished this particular crystal, the artist who painted and fired this particular pendant many times before handing it over.

The story of the craft itself — small deviations, irregular shapes, the honest marks of a thing made by a human.

And the story of the person wearing it — the life you carry into the piece, starting the first day you put it on, and continuing for as long as you wear it.

When a friend notices your piece and asks about it, you will not say it is pretty. You will tell them the story. That is what these pieces are made for.

Our pieces draw from the oldest sources of personal meaning humans have — talismans, family crests, religious medallions, the symbols tattooed onto skin, the shapes found in nature and carried on the body for protection or remembrance. We brought that inheritance into a form made with heritage craft, natural stone, hand-painted enamel, and gold that is thick enough to stay.

Because the feeling of choosing what you wear — not just buying it — is the whole point.

What we don't make_

Because what we are is shaped by what we refuse to be.

None of this is branding. It is how we actually run the workshop. The day we start doing any of these things is the day we stop making pieces worth telling a story about.
